1. Sentience

  • Definition: The capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively; the ability to have conscious experiences.

  • Example:
    Many philosophers debate whether animals possess true sentience.sentience, but remember that Allah has created all creatures with purpose and consciousness.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: احساس (Ehsaas)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "فلسفی بحث کرتے ہیں کہ کیا جانوروں میں حقیقت میں احساس ہے؟ لیکن یاد رکھو کہ اللہ نے تمام مخلوقات کو مقصد اور شعور کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے۔"
        (Falsafi behas karte hain ke kya janwaron mein haqeeqat mein ehsaas hai? Lekin yaad rakho ke Allah ne tamaam makhluqat ko maqsad aur shu'ur ke saath paida kiya hai.)
      • Meaning: Philosophers debate whether animals possess true feeling.feeling, but remember that Allah has created all creatures with purpose and consciousness.
    • Arabic: شعور (Shu'ur)
      • Example (Arabic):
         "الفلاسفة يناقشون ما إذا كانت الحيوانات تمتلك شعوراً حقيقياً، ولكن تذكروا أن الله خلق جميع المخلوقات بغرض وشعور."
        (Al-falasifah yunaaqishoon ma 'itha kanat al-hayawanat tamlik shu'uran haqiqiyan.haqiqiyan, wa laakin tadakkaroo anna Allah khalaqa jamee' al-makhlooqaat bighard wa shu'ur.)
      • Meaning: Philosophers discuss whether animals truly possess consciousness, but remember that Allah created all creatures with purpose and consciousness.

2. Awareness

  • Definition: The state of being aware of something, especially being conscious of one's surroundings, feelings, or circumstances.

  • Example:
    Her awareness of global issues made her an advocate for environmental protection.protection, just as we must be aware of our duties to Allah and His creation.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: آگاہی (Agaahi)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "اس کی عالمی مسائل کے بارے میں آگاہی نے اسے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کا حامی بنایا، جیسے ہمیں اللہ اور اس کی مخلوق کے لیے اپنے فرائض کا شعور ہونا چاہیے۔"
        (Us ki aalami masail ke baare mein agaahi ne use maholiyati tahaffuz ka haami banaya.banaya, jaisay humein Allah aur uski makhlooq ke liye apne farayz ka sha'ur hona chahiye.)

3. Acumen

  • Definition: The ability to make good judgments and quick decisions, particularly in a specialized area of knowledge.

  • Example:
    His acumen in business helped him achieve great success in a short time.time, but true success lies in using one's skills for the service of Allah.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: فطانت (Fatanat)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "اس کی فطانت نے اسے کاروبار میں تیزی سے کامیاب کر دیا، لیکن حقیقی کامیابی اللہ کی خدمت میں اپنی صلاحیتوں کا استعمال کرنے میں ہے۔"
        (Us ki fatanat ne use karobar mein taizi se kamyab kar diya.diya, lekin haqeeqi kamyabi Allah ki khidmat mein apni salahiyaton ka istemal karne mein hai.)
      • Meaning: His acumen in business helped him succeed quickly.quickly, but true success lies in using one's skills for the service of Allah.
    • Arabic: بصيرة (Baseera)
      • Example (Arabic):
         "بصيرته في الأعمال ساعدته على تحقيق النجاح بسرعة، ولكن النجاح الحقيقي يكمن في استخدام مهاراته لخدمة الله."
        (Baseeratuhu fi al-a'mal sa'adatuhu 'ala tahqeeq al-najah bisura’ah.ah, walakin al-najah al-haqiqi yakmun fi istikhdam maharatihi li-khidmat Allah.)

4. Discernment

  • Definition: The ability to judge well, particularly in making decisions or understanding complex situations.

  • Example:
    Her discernment in choosing the right candidates for the job was exceptional.exceptional, much like how we must discern between right and wrong by following the guidance of the Quran.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: بصیرت (Baseerat)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "اس کی بصیرت نے اسے صحیح امیدواروں کا انتخاب کرنے میں مدد دی، جیسے ہمیں قرآن کی رہنمائی کی پیروی کرتے ہوئے اچھے اور برے میں تمیز کرنی چاہیے۔"
        (Us ki baseerat ne use sahih umeedwaron ka intekhaab karne mein madad di.di, jaisay humein Quran ki rehnumai ki pairavi karte hue achay aur buray mein tameez karni chahiye.)
      • Meaning: Her discernment helped her choose the right candidates for the job.job, just as we must discern between right and wrong by following the guidance of the Quran.
    • Arabic: تمييز (Tamyiz)
      • Example (Arabic):
         "تمييزها في اختيار المرشحين المناسبين كان استثنائياً، كما يجب علينا التمييز بين الحق والباطل باتباع هداية القرآن."

5. Revelation

  • Definition: A surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known to the public or becomes clear to an individual.

  • Example:
    The scientist’s revelation about the new discovery shocked the world.world, similar to the divine revelations brought by the Prophets to guide humanity.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: انکشاف (Inkishaaf)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "سائنسدان کا انکشاف دنیا کو حیران کن کر گیا، جیسے انبیاء کی وحی انسانیت کی رہنمائی کے لیے آئی۔"
        (Science-dan ka inkishaaf duniya ko hairan kun kar gaya.gaya, jaisay Anbiya ki wahi insaniyat ki rehnumai ke liye aayi.)
      • Meaning: The scientist’s revelation shocked the world.world, similar to the divine revelations brought by the Prophets to guide humanity.
    • Arabic: كشف (Kashf)
      • Example (Arabic):
         "اكتشاف العالِم عن الاكتشاف الجديد صدم العالم، مثل الوحي الإلهي الذي أتى به الأنبياء لهداية البشرية."

6. Vigilance

  • Definition: The action or state of keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties.

    • Urdu: چوکسی (Choksi)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "ایمرجنسی کے دوران عوام کی حفاظت کے لئے چوکسی ضروری ہے، اور مسلمانوں کے طور پر ہمیں اپنے ایمان میں بھی چوکسی اختیار کرنی چاہیے، خاص طور پر آزمائشوں کے دوران۔"
        (Emergency ke dauran awaam ki hifazat ke liye choksi zaroori hai.hai, aur Musalmanon ke toor par humein apne imaan mein bhi choksi ikhtiyar karni chahiye, khaas toar par azmaishon ke dauran.)

7. Lucidity

  • Definition: Clear understanding or the quality of being easy to understand; the ability to express oneself in a clear and logical manner.

  • Example:

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: وضاحت (Wazahat)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "اس کی وضاحت نے پیچیدہ خیالات کو سمجھنا آسان بنا دیا، جیسے اسلام کا پیغام واضح اور سادہ طریقے سے پہنچانا ضروری ہے۔"
        (Us ki wazahat ne pecheeda khayaalat ko samajhna aasan bana diya.diya, jaisay Islam ka paighaam wazeh aur saadah tareeqay se pohanchana zaroori hai.)

8. Alacrity

9. Sagacity

  • Definition: Acuteness of mental discernment and sound judgment, often applied to practical matters.

  • Example:
    The CEO’s sagacity in handling the crisis earned him widespread respect.respect, just as wisdom in making decisions that please Allah earns eternal reward.

    Synonyms:

    • Urdu: حکمت (Hikmat)
      • Example (Urdu):
         "سی ای او کی حکمت نے بحران کے دوران اسے وسیع احترام دلایا، جیسے اللہ کی رضا کے مطابق فیصلے کرنے کی حکمت ابدی انعام لاتی ہے۔"
